Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is better than Galaxy C9 Pro's 81 score. Although Huawei Mate X is notably newer than the Galaxy C9 Pro, it's much thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy C9 Pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides lots of additional features.
The Huawei Mate X features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy C9 Pro, because it has a lot bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a little greater pixel number per inch of screen. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate X features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy C9 Pro shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution and a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in poorly lited environments.
Huawei Mate X has just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy C9 Pro, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
