The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is much better than the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), having a 79.3 score against 71.8. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older phone than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner and just a little lighter. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with more cores.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a much more vibrant display than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a bit bigger screen, a way better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a much greater display density. Galaxy S6 edge+ features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way higher video definition and a back facing camera with a better 16 mega-pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a little bit better memory for applications and games than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a battery duration that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) one.
