Sony Xperia 5 is much better than the Galaxy J7 Star, with an 81 score against 73.1. The Sony Xperia 5 construction is newer, just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than Galaxy J7 Star. The Xperia 5 has a better performance than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia 5 counts with a better screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2520, a bit bigger display and way more pixels per inch in the screen. Xperia 5 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a back-facing camera with less MP resolution, it also counts with a lot better video resolution, a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light environments.
The Xperia 5 features much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 512 GB and 96 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy J7 Star counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 5 percent larger battery size.
