Samsung Galaxy M30s has a global score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S8's 81.7 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy M30s is a much newer cellphone than the Galaxy S8, although it is thicker and somewhat heavier. Galaxy S8 has a processor that is just as good as the Galaxy M30s one, both have 4 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores.
Galaxy S8 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M30s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Samsung Galaxy M30s features a slightly better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy M30s features a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Galaxy M30s has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M30s also counts with a much better resolution back-facing camera and a lot bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
