Comparison review
The Galaxy M30s is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9, with an 83.3 score against 83.2. Even though the Galaxy M30s is better than Xiaomi Mi 9, we must note that it's also a a bit heavier and somewhat thicker phone. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M30s. They have the same exact 1080 x 2340px resolution, a display with the same size and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy M30s has a bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little faster CPU than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy M30s counts with a way better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh. Xiaomi Mi 9 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have a same size sensor, a camera with a 48 MP resolution and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has higher video frame rates and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations.
