Comparison review
IPhone 12 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy M31, getting an 88.7 score against 86.5. Even when the iPhone 12 and the Samsung Galaxy M31 were only released with a couple of months difference, the iPhone 12 is thinner and lighter. The iPhone 12 has iOS 15.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy M31 has Android 11 OS.
IPhone 12 features a more vivid display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a really brighter screen and a quite better 1170 x 2532 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games than iPhone 12, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The iPhone 12 features a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a very superior battery duration than Apple iPhone 12, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior camera than Apple iPhone 12, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and videos in low-light situations and worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
