IPhone 12 Pro Max has a general score of 93.2, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy M31's 86.5 global score. Although the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy M31 were released only a couple months apart, iPhone 12 Pro Max's construction is somewhat thinner but also heavier. IPhone 12 Pro Max counts with iOS 15.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy M31 has Android 11 OS.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a better performing processor than Galaxy M31, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has a better resolution of 1284 x 2778px, a quite bigger screen, a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a way brighter display.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much longer battery performance than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3687mAh.
