Comparison review
The Google Pixel 5 has a global score of 89, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M31's global score of 86.5. Even though the Google Pixel 5 and the Samsung Galaxy M31 were released only a couple of months apart, the Google Pixel 5 is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter. The Google Pixel 5 has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 5 also has more RAM.
Galaxy M31 features a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a just a little lower pixels count in each display inch, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a little bigger display. Galaxy M31 has a better memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy M31 takes much clearer photos and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited environments and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior battery performance than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
