The Galaxy M31 is much better than Huawei P30 Lite, getting a global score of 86.5 against 77. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Galaxy M31 has the older 11 version and Huawei P30 Lite has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although Galaxy M31 is newer than Huawei P30 Lite, it's thicker and heavier.
Samsung Galaxy M31 features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy M31 has a little more vivid display than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bigger display.
Huawei P30 Lite has much more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Huawei P30 Lite also has more internal storage. Galaxy M31 counts with a way better battery life than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3340mAh.
Galaxy M31 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Galaxy M31 also has a lot better 64 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, a much higher (4K) video definition and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
