Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is slightly better than the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, with an 86.5 score against 85.9. Although Samsung Galaxy M31 and Huawei P30 Pro New Edition were released with only 3 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy M31 body is a bit lighter but also just a little bit thicker. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version and Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has Android 10 version.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a just a little better pixel quantity per screen inch. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a quite bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy M31, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M31, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same back camera sensor size and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy M31 has a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because it has a 43% bigger battery capacity.
