Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is a bit better than LG G8X ThinQ, having an 86.5 score against 82.7. Although the Galaxy M31 and LG G8X ThinQ were released only 4 months apart, the Galaxy M31 construction is a little lighter but also a little bit thicker. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10, providing some nice extra features and a performance increase.
The LG G8X ThinQ features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy M31. Both of them have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31 features just a bit better looking screen than LG G8X ThinQ. They have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the same number of pixels per inch in the display and a screen of the same size.
LG G8X ThinQ has a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB and more internal storage. The Galaxy M31 has a better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much better battery life than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
