Comparison review

Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is a little bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 overall score. Both phones we compare here have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple additional features and a performance increase. The Galaxy M31 is a newer cellphone than LG V40 ThinQ, but it's heavier and somewhat thicker.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit sharper display than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a better number of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution. LG V40 ThinQ has a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy M31, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

LG V40 ThinQ has a bit better CPU than Galaxy M31. They have 6 GB of RAM and 8 cores. The Galaxy M31 counts with a way better battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images in low-light situations and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
