The Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than the Motorola Defy (2021), with an 86.5 score against 77.2. The Samsung Galaxy M31 design is somewhat thinner and lighter than Motorola Defy (2021), although it was released just 16 months before. Both devices in this review include the same Android 11 operating system, so both of them should provide all the same operating system features.
Galaxy M31 counts with a much better looking display than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. The Motorola Defy (2021) features as much memory to store more games and applications as Galaxy M31, both have equal 64 GB internal memory and a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Defy (2021), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31 has greater battery life than Motorola Defy (2021), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
