Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is a bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Pro's 83.4 overall score. Despite of the fact the Galaxy M31 is a lot older and just a bit thicker than the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, it's design is still a bit lighter. These phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy M31 has older 11 version while Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13 version.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a little sharper screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a bit larger screen, a lot brighter screen and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro shoots clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a camera with much less megapixels resolution, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution and a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a better memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy M31 has superior battery duration than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a 30% bigger battery capacity.
