Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Fold is much better than Samsung Galaxy M31, getting a general score of 97.6 against 86.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy M31 has Android 11 version, providing you some additional features and optimized performance. Although the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Samsung Galaxy M31 were released only 5 months apart, Samsung Galaxy Fold's construction is way heavier but a lot thinner.
The Galaxy M31 features just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little greater amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Fold has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM. The Galaxy M31 takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures or video in low-light situations and lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a lot bigger sensor and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy M31 features a much better battery life than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 37 percent greater battery size.
