Samsung Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M31's general score of 86.5. Even when Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy M31 were only released 0 months apart, Samsung Galaxy S20 is thinner and lighter. Both devices we are comparing here include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has a newer 13 version and Samsung Galaxy M31 has Android 11, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy S20 has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px.
Galaxy M31 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S20, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same sensor size and the same aperture, the Galaxy M31 also has a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels and higher 30 fps video frame rate. The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a way better battery performance than Galaxy S20, because it has a 50 percent larger battery capacity.
