The Galaxy M31 is better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, getting a overall score of 86.5 against 78.1. Even though Galaxy M31 is newer than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it is much heavier and just a bit thicker. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M31 has the previous 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixel density.
