Samsung Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S8 Active's overall score of 81.9. The Samsung Galaxy M31 body is noticeably newer, a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy S8 Active. Samsung Galaxy M31 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960px resolution and a greater pixel density. Galaxy M31 has a bit more storage for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB.
