Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S9, with a general score of 86.5 against 83.3. The Galaxy M31 design is newer than Galaxy S9's, but it is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker. Galaxy S9 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M31, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy S9 has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution. Galaxy M31 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S9, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy M31 has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has a 100% larger battery capacity. The Galaxy M31 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S9, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video quality, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a way bigger sensor taking way better quality videos and photos and a much better 64 MP resolution camera.
