Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is better than Galaxy XCover 5's global score of 78.1. Galaxy M31's construction is just a little thinner than the Galaxy XCover 5, although it's just a bit heavier and was released just 12 months before. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that.
Galaxy M31 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has more pixels per display inch, a larger display and a much higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Galaxy M31 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M31 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy XCover 5 features more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy M31 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy M31 also has a much more mega pixels back camera and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 100 percent bigger battery size.
