Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy XCover FieldPro's 80.1 overall score. Even when the Samsung Galaxy M31 and the Galaxy XCover FieldPro were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy M31 is notably lighter and way thinner. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has the previous 11 version while Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little more vivid display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M31, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Galaxy M31 captures a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a camera with a lot higher 64 mega-pixels resolution and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as Samsung Galaxy M31, both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Galaxy M31 counts with longer battery life than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a 33 percent larger battery size.
