Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy M31, getting a overall score of 94.6 against 86.5. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Samsung Galaxy M31 were released with only a couple of months difference, Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is a lot thinner but extremely heavier than Samsung Galaxy M31.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller display and a way worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a bit higher pixels number in each inch of display. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 6 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M31 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a bigger sensor and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy M31 has longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 33% bigger battery size.
