Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is a bit better than Xperia 1, with an 86.5 score against 82.6. Even though Samsung Galaxy M31 is newer than the Xperia 1, it is just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. Sony Xperia 1 has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has less bright display, it also counts with a quite bigger display, a much better pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia 1 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M31. They have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. The Xperia 1 has a much greater memory for applications and games than Galaxy M31, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy M31 takes greater photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a way higher resolution camera, a lot larger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and better 30 frames per second video frame rates.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
