Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, getting an 86.5 score against 78.6. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M31 has 11 version and Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy M31's design is newer, just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a little bit worse pixel amount per display inch, it also counts with a little brighter display. Galaxy M31 has a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB.
Galaxy M31 features a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. They have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy M31 captures better pictures and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M31 also has a lot bigger sensor which offers a much better image and video quality, a back facing camera with a lot better resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
