Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 has a score of 86.5, which is a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 score. Galaxy M31's body is newer, a lot thinner and lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of display, a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and much more screen brightness.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy M31. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy M31 counts with a superior camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy M31 also has a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a lot better 64 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a little bit more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
