Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is much better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it offers a lot of extra features and performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy M31 construction is newer than the Xperia Z5's, although it is heavier and somewhat thicker.
Sony Xperia Z5 and Galaxy M31 have extremely similar processing units, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Sony Xperia Z5 features a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a little bit better display density.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a better camera than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a way more mega pixels back facing camera and a much bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy M31 counts with a really longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
