Comparison review
Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 overall score. Even being the best we compare here, Galaxy M31 is an older, a little thicker and a little heavier phone than Xiaomi 12. These phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy M31 has the older 11 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12.
Xiaomi 12 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a way brighter display and a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy M31 counts with a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi 12, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi 12, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12 takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low light images and a back-facing camera with way less MP resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality and a much higher video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has superior battery duration than Xiaomi 12, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
