Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, having an 86.5 score against 82.9. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M31 has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy M31's construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, but it is a little lighter.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a screen that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy M31's screen, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a little bit brighter screen, they both have the same pixel density, a screen of the same size and the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M31 features a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31 features a way better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because it has a 50% greater battery size.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
