Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9, with an 86.5 score against 83.2. Galaxy M31's design is newer, but a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 9. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a better pixels number per display inch, a display of the same size and an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a brighter screen.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a better storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy M31. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 and the Xiaomi Mi 9 have quite similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9 has a much lower 48 mega pixels resolution back camera, a smaller sensor shooting lower quality images and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, they both have a F1.8 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a much better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
