Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with a overall score of 86.5 against 76. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Samsung Galaxy M31 is a incredibly newer phone than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but it's heavier and thicker.
Galaxy M31 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a quite larger screen, a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little greater amount of pixels in each display inch. The Galaxy M31 has a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
