Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having an 86.5 score against 76.6. The Samsung Galaxy M31 design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it's a bit lighter. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, providing a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
The Galaxy M31 features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy M31 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a quite greater amount of pixels in each display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 has better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy M31 captures better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy M31 also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a back camera with way more mega pixels and a larger sensor capturing better quality videos and photos.
