Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, with an 86.5 score against 81.1. Galaxy M31's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but it is a little bit lighter. Both devices we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M31 has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version, providing some nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a processor that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy M31 one, they have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy M31 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a little higher display density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's storage capacity to store more apps and games is just as good as Galaxy M31's one, they have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and equal 64 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy M31 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro both count with very similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in low light situations, they both have the same sensor size, a same resolution back camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
The Galaxy M31 features improved battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size.
