Samsung Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 general score. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. The Samsung Galaxy M31 is a just a little lighter device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but they have the same thickness.
The Galaxy M31 features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy M31 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels in each display inch.
