Galaxy M40 has a score of 85, which is a little bit better than iPhone 8's global score of 85. Although Galaxy M40 is newer than the iPhone 8, it is a little bit thicker and heavier. IPhone 8 features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy M40, although it has a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a lot lower resolution of 750 x 1334px and a really smaller display. Samsung Galaxy M40 captures a little bit better photos and videos than iPhone 8, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited environments, a bigger back camera sensor and a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
Galaxy M40 has a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a way better battery life than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 1821mAh.
