Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, getting an 85 score against 81.7. The Galaxy M40 body is notably newer, a little thinner and a bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0, so it provides a couple additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a sharper display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels amount per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a bit faster processor than Galaxy M40, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 3 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy M40 has a way bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy M40 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a tinier camera sensor providing a worse image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a much bigger camera aperture and a camera with much more megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 17 percent greater battery size.
