Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, getting an 87.1 score against 81.7. IPhone 8 Plus is a notably newer and just a little bit thinner cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, although it's also somewhat heavier. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64 bits CPU.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a brighter screen than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a better 2560 x 1440px resolution, a higher pixel amount per screen inch and a little larger display. IPhone 8 Plus has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a tinier sensor giving a worse image quality, a back camera with a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution and a worse video resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has just a bit better battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has an 11 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note Edge. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Note Edge, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
