Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, getting an 82.1 score against 80.4. The Galaxy A8 Star body is newer and just a bit thinner than Galaxy Note Fan Edition's, although it's also somewhat heavier. Galaxy Note Fan Edition and Samsung Galaxy A8 Star both have really similar processors, and although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh. Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller sensor taking worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same aperture, the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
