Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a global score of 93.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note9's 87.1 global score. Even though the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is heavier than Galaxy Note9, it's thinner and also incredibly newer. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max features a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has less cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
IPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a just a little lower screen density and a little bit worse 1284 x 2778 resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display. Galaxy Note9 features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
