Comparison review
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is slightly better than Galaxy Note9, with a score of 93.2 against 87.1. The iPhone 13 Pro Max body is way newer and somewhat thinner, but heavier than Galaxy Note9. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1284 x 2778 and a just a bit worse display pixels density, it also counts with a little larger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Note9, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max. Both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels, the same diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has a 4352mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note9. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 13 Pro Max, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note9, letting go some specifications.
