IPhone 14 Pro Max has an overall score of 94.9, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note9's overall score of 87.1. Even though the iPhone 14 Pro Max is heavier than the Galaxy Note9, it's somewhat thinner and also way newer. Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a little worse 1290 x 2796px resolution and a bit worse pixels quantity per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit larger display.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 14 Pro Max, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has a quite better processing power than Galaxy Note9, because although it has lesser CPU cores (but faster), and they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
IPhone 14 Pro Max has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note9, because it has 4323mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Note9, resigning some specs and features.
