The Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8's 83 global score. Galaxy Note9's construction has the same thickness than the Asus ZenFone 8, but it's heavier. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a processor that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Note9 one, both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ZenFone 8 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Note9, although it has a little bit lower screen density, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little smaller display. Galaxy Note9 counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Asus ZenFone 8 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a way better video resolution, a much bigger camera sensor taking lot better quality photos and a camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Asus ZenFone 8 and Galaxy Note9 both count with quite similar batteries.
