Samsung Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 2 XL's overall score of 82.5. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a newer phone than the Google Pixel 2 XL, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with just a bit better performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Google Pixel 2 XL has a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy Note9 one, because although the Google Pixel 2 XL has a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better number of pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy Note9 has a superior memory to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy Note9 counts with a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a less MP camera and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture and a bigger sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features just a little better battery life than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3520mAh.
Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 2 XL, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
