Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note9's overall score of 87.1. Huawei Mate X's construction is newer, but somewhat thicker and much heavier than the Galaxy Note9. Galaxy Note9 features a bit better processing unit than Huawei Mate X, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Galaxy Note9 features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little bit worse 1440 x 2960 resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better quantity of pixels in each inch of display. The Huawei Mate X has a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 captures better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot smaller camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors and a much less mega pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture. The Huawei Mate X features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Note9, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
