Huawei Mate Xs is a little bit better than Galaxy Note9, having a 91.6 score against 87.1. The Huawei Mate Xs is a newer cellphone than Galaxy Note9, but it's somewhat thicker and way heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei Mate Xs features a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate Xs has a processor that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy Note9's CPU, and although the Huawei Mate Xs has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Huawei Mate Xs takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has slower video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate Xs also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a way bigger sensor capturing much better quality photos.
The Huawei Mate Xs counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
