Both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little bit better display than Huawei P30, because it has a better 1440 x 2960 resolution, a quite greater count of pixels in each inch of display and a little bit larger display. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P30, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB.

The Huawei P30 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos and video in poorly lited environments and slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P30 also counts with a much better 40 MP resolution back-facing camera and a way bigger sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures.
