The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P40 lite 5G's 83.4 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better cellphone than Huawei P40 lite 5G, it must be told that it is also an older, a little bit heavier and a little thicker cellphone.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit better CPU than Huawei P40 lite 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Note9 has a little more vivid display than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Huawei P40 lite 5G takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier aperture and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also counts with a way higher resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note9 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G has a battery performance that's very similar to the battery duration in Galaxy Note9.
