The Galaxy Note9 is better than the LG G3, getting an 87.1 score against 76.4. The Galaxy Note9 body has the same thickness than the LG G3, but it is heavier. The LG G3 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a bit better hardware performance than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a very superior storage for games and applications than LG G3, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 shoots clearer photographs and videos than LG G3, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a lower 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a lot bigger aperture to capture better captures in poorly lited environments and a bigger sensor which gives a better image and video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features superior battery performance than LG G3, because it has a 33% bigger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note9, else you can save some money and get the LG G3, giving up a couple specifications.
