Galaxy Note9 is better than the Moto G8 Plus, with an 87.1 score against 77.6. Galaxy Note9 is an older and a bit heavier phone than Moto G8 Plus, but Samsung could make it just a little bit thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little bit better looking screen than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a bit larger screen, a better pixels density and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note9 has just a little better processing power than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has more RAM memory.

The Moto G8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note9 count with very similar batteries duration. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also counts with a camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality.
