Samsung Galaxy Note9 is better than the Galaxy Alpha, with a overall score of 87.1 against 76.3. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a much heavier and incredibly thicker phone than the Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much larger screen, a way higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a lot better pixel density.

Galaxy Note9 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores. Galaxy Note9 captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a back camera with a 12 megapixels and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Note9 also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a lot larger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.

The Galaxy Note9 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 96 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Note9 features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 115 percent more battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
