The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a little bit better than the Galaxy M12, getting an 87.1 score against 80. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 body is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than Galaxy M12, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The Galaxy Note9 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a way better screen density.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has just a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 has a camera that is very similar to the camera in Galaxy Note9, because although the Samsung Galaxy M12 has lower video frame rate and a way smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, it also counts with a much more MP camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.
